The food was delicious and beautifully plated and the service was gracious and professional while unobtrusive and understated. I cannot say enough about the service… Friendly and welcoming and not at all stuffy or overly formal. Delicious theater- perfect for a truly special occasion.

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, elegant, and very professional. Every detail was perfectly cared for, and the service made the evening feel even more special. The food was extraordinary: delicate flavors, impeccable presentation, and a top-level gastronomic experience in every dish. Everything was simply excellent from start to finish. Without a doubt, a memorable dinner and a place I would return to again.

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday, the service was sublime, the presentation of the dishes exquisite. At one point during dinner, Mynor (who was attending our table) asked us where we were from and we said Paraguay. We were surprised because at dessert time, Laura, who brought the cake, greeted my friend in Guaraní (one of the official languages of Paraguay). That moment was very special. That attention to detail, going the extra mile made all the difference for us. The kitchen tour, the kindness, the care in every detail, the atmosphere, absolutely everything was an incredible gastronomic experience. The Carolina Swordfish doesn't even taste like fish, it was juicy and flavorful. We had already been to Blue Box Café, Le Pavillon, La Tête d'Or and I can say that Daniel is in first place for us. Next stop: Café Boulud.

Casually stopped by for dessert and were treated with an exceptional level of service comparable to the tasting menu experience. I had the bar pretty low thinking it was just the lounge area — and it actually blew my mind 🤩. Thank you.

This is my favorite restaurant in the world in terms of the overall experience. We have been four times and will continue to return when we visit NYC. The service is perfection - warm and attentive without being oppressive. They remember little details and offer many personalized touches. The food is always different and seasonal and delicious. The dining room is beautiful and wonderful for observing the dance of the Michelin-star restaurant. On our last visit I did not feel well as the meal progressed (due to something I had eaten earlier in the day) and they showed genuine care and consideration throughout the meal. I would recommend Daniel to anyone for a special occasion or treat.
